| What Are They Up To? |
Neil Finn has released 2 solo albums since Crowded House, and in 2001 had been wandering around New Zealand playing low key gigs here and there with bands of local amateur musicians. To end the tour Finn formed a short- term ‘super’-band of his own featuring Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Johnnie Marr (ex-The Smiths) and Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien and Phil Sedway. The CD from these sessions, called 'When 7 Worlds Collide' was out in December 2001. Neil’s brother Tim has released 5 solo albums, and wrote and performed for a year with his brother in Crowed House for the Woodface album. He recently released a new solo album, Feeding The Gods. Philip Judd has composed music for numerous documentaries and theatrical productions, although TV work has dominated in recent years with Judd composing the themes and incidental music for two series of ‘Good Guys, Bad Guys’. He recently completed work on the third series of the Australian Channel 9 series ‘Stingers’ and commenced work on series four in early 2002. |
