| What Is He Up To? |
Sony Music UK announced in November 2003 that it had signed a new worldwide record deal with George Michael. Interesting considering the nasty split they had a few years back. George recently finished recording on a new album, 'Patience', his first set of original material since 1996's 'Older'; which will be released in March 2004. The first single to be taken off it is 'Amazing', out early February 2004.
Prior to this, a couple of singles, ‘Freeek’ and 'Shoot The Dog', were released in March and July 2002; causing massive controversy as usual for too much sex and too much politics. George continues to cultivate love and hate camps in the press and with music buyers, but seems to be happy in his own space and rolling in it. |
