A new Culture Club release, ´Strange Cargo´, was due out in December 2001, then February 2002; then it was on hold ‘until further notice’. Maybe Boy George is too busy with theatre and DJ work to bother? George continues touring solo as a renowned DJ, and wrote and produced a musical, 'Taboo', which started January 2002 in London and has kept going there and even off-Broadway for a couple of years. Taboo is very interesting for anyone interested in 80s New Wave as it tells f the story of Leigh Bowery, with actors playing chart-topping performers including Steve Strange from Visage, Marilyn and club entrepreneur Philip Sallon.
